Anderson, Curtis Lee
Curtis Lee Anderson of Cook Station, Missouri passed away March 22, 2014 at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 54. Curtis was born on November 28, 1959 in Ironton, Missouri to the late Roy and Velma (Orr) Anderson.
Curtis proudly served his Country in the United States Army National Guard Unit. On May 12, 2001 Curtis was united in marriage to the former Tracy Ness. Mr. & Mrs. Curtis Anderson made their home in Cook Station, Missouri, they were joined by a son Cody.
Curtis enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on cars; his passion was his family and friends, getting together playing the guitar and singing the gospel. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed. Curtis is survived by his loving wife Tracy, of the home; son Cody Davison also of the home; brothers, Michael Anderson, of Rolla, MO, and Lindell Anderson, of St. James, MO; sister Denise Burke and husband Augie, of St. James, MO; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services for Curtis Anderson will be Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the St. James Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary with Pastor Marvin Thompson officiating. Interment will be in the Asher Cemetery with Mike Anderson, Lindell Anderson, Otto Burke, Dave Pollard, and Steve Macey serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer is Charlie Perkins. Military Honors at the cemetery will be preformed by the V.F.W. Post #5608 from St. James. Memorials are suggested to the Curtis Anderson Memorial, cards are available at all James & Gahr locations. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the chapel from 5-8 PM.
