Alfonso J. Venzez Hernandez

Alfonso J. Venzez Hernandez of St. James, Missouri passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the age of 58. Alfonso was born in Michoacan, Mexico on June 19, 1963 to the late Alfonso and Guadalupe Venzez (Hernandez). Alfonso moved to Missouri from Napa Valley, California, where he was a vineyard specialist for many years in the wine making industry. He settled into St. James and started his own landscaping business. He really loved living in St. James, enjoying the fishing that this area offered, he also started arrowhead collecting, building up a really nice collection. Most importantly he loved his family, spending time with his daughters, and the grandchildren. Alfonso J. Venzez Hernandez is survived by his wife Maria Guadalupe Ornelas, of Mexico; children, Nancy Venzez and husband Oscar Cordero, of St. James, MO, Mayra Venzez and husband Rogelio Acosta, of Marysville, CA, Karina Venzez and husband Steven Fernández, of Woodland, CA, Stephanie Venzez, of Guadalajara, Mexico, and Evelyn Venzez, of Guadalajara, Mexico; brothers, Gustavo Venzez, and wife Gloria, of St. Louis, MO, Alfonso Venzez and wife Lisa, of St. Louis, MO and Roberto Ceron, and wife Natalia, of American Canyon, CA; sisters, Luz Venzez, of St. Louis, MO, Guadalupe Venzez and husband Raul, of Michoacan, Mexico, and Graciela Venzez, of Michoacan, Mexico; grandchildren, Andres, Enrique, Natalie, Alexandra, Dianna, Rogelio, and Francisco; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. A funeral Mass for Alfonso will be celebrated on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. James, Missouri at 11:00AM.
