George E. George of Salem, Missouri was born in Chicago Illinois on September 25, 1928. George passed from this life on April 27, 2022, at his home in Salem surrounded by loved ones at the age of 93 years. George worked in Interior Sales but in his free time he enjoyed playing golf. He was an avid sports fan, watching games such as boxing and football frequently on television. George loved to camp and spend time with his wife and grandchildren. He was a lover of opera and classical music. George is survived by his loving wife Barbara Ernest of the home in Salem, Missouri; stepdaughter Debbie Young and husband Gregg; grandchildren, Jim Edwards and wife Janine, Teagan Edwards; and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him greatly. Per George’s final wishes, there will be no services.
