Nadine Steiner of Salem, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at St. Clair Hospital in Fenton, Missouri at the age of 86. Nadine was born in Los Angeles, California on February 8, 1933 to the late William and Mary Southard. The oldest of five children, Nadine was united in marriage to Mr. Kenneth Steiner on April 19, 1951. Their union was blessed with three children. A loving and devoted mother and wife Nadine took great pleasure in spending time with her family, and especially enjoyed to prepare and share dinners. While her husband’s military service took her family around the country and allowed Nadine to see many sights, Nadine stayed home to care for her children. Her hobbies included cooking, doing crafts, and making decorations for carnivals. Nadine deeply loved the Lord and attended Oak Grove Baptist Church until she was unable. She will be tenderly missed by all that knew and loved her. Nadine Steiner is survived by her children Dale Steiner and wife Sharon, of Salem, MO, Donna York of Rolla, MO, David York of Owensville, MO, and daughter-in-law Joyce Steiner of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren Melissa and Keith Grayson, Kristina and Jered Jackson, Mary and Jon Dwyer, Kenny Steiner, David Michael and Sharla York, Karen and Robert Lunsford, Jon Steiner, Kyle Steiner and Lisa and John Johnson; and 18 great-grandchildren. Nadine was preceded in death by her beloved parents, William and Mary Southard; husband, Kenneth Steiner; son, Don Steiner; sisters, Jennette Hurtley and husband Charles, Nancy Depretis and husband Earnest, and Karen Allen and husband, Gayland; great-granddaughter, Kensley Addison Grayson. Graveside services for Nadine Steiner will be Wednesday, October 30 2019 at 1PM at North Lawn Cemetery in Salem, MO with Jered Jackson officiating.
