Patricia Hudspeth

Patricia Hudspeth of Salem, Missouri was born on July 12, 1946, in Salem to D.R. and Geraline (Dotson) Skaggs. She passed from this life on February 25, 2022, in Rapid City, South Dakota at the age of 75 years. She was married to John R Hudspeth on December 1, 1972. Pat worked for Casey’s General Stores for many years. She started out in the 1980’s as store employee, then moved onto management where she worked for over 30 years. She was devoted and most recently went back to working as a store employee simply because she loved her customers and enjoyed being with people. Pat liked spending her free time with her grandchildren. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents D.R. and Geraline Skaggs; her husband John Hudspeth; brothers Kenny Skaggs and Gary Skaggs; and sister Carol Armstrong. She leaves behind one son, Forrest Hudspeth and wife Nicole of Rapid City, South Dakota; brothers Stanley Skaggs and wife Linda of Salem, Missouri, and Clinton Skaggs and wife Ruth of Monett, Missouri; grandchildren Lane, Travis, Krista, Leah, and Andrew; great grandchildren Ellie, Everleigh, Adalynn, and Noah. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at the James & Gahr Mortuary in Salem, Missouri with Aaron Steelman officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until service time. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Salem, Missouri. Pall bearers are Forrest Hudspeth, Lane Hudspeth, Travis Hudspeth, Krista Hudspeth, Leah Russell, Nicole Hudspeth; Honorary Pallbearers will be Daniel Rice and Gary Howard.
